If i go to the deluna fest, do i have to stay at one of the hotels?

from what i understand, the music festival is hosted by a group of three hotels. do i have to stay there? or can i just camp out on the beach or something. is that allowed? i can afford the ticket for the festival itself, but i cant pay for the hotel, and i dont know where i would end up sleeping...
