Orange liquor in my beer or not?

I have brewed a Brown Ale infused with spices and peppermint oil. It is my holiday warmer for a competition against my husband and his friends. They have been brewing for years and me just 4 batches. Well the idea was to boost flavor and alcohol with Grand Marnier just prior to the bottling. Do you think this is a good idea? Do it?
