How to get a new battery fo my lg imprint (metropcs)?

a couple months aqo i bouqht this phone and fell in love! it got messed up the battery burnt out.. id buy a new phone but they discontinued it:( how can i get another battery? i went to metro and they dont sell baterries. i dont want to order online.. i need help cus i need that phone i live in san jose btw any help would be appreciated thanks
